A small business engaged in the promotion of material handling equipment to the US Government and Commercial Industry.  ZITEC is incorporated in the State of Florida as well as actively listed in the Defense Logistics Agency’s Central Contractor Registration.  ZITEC is certified by the United States/Canada Joint Certification Office. 

Leadership

He began his career by maintaining and repairing material handling equipment as well as using it to support a variety of different military missions.  Mank lead the purchase of 920 special side opening 20-foot Intermodal ISO containers built in India to support US Air Force ammo movement requirements.  Most notably, he saved nearly $2 million in the process.  Because of his background, he was selected to be the government’s lead person in testing and purchasing container handlers and attachments for use in munitions transoceanic shipments. Mank was then elevated to managing all munitions material handling equipment at various, progressively higher levels.  His final position with the Air Force was as Superintendent, Munitions Materiel Handling Equipment Focal Point at Eglin Air Force Base.  There, he acted as a liaison between equipment users, manufacturers and Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, resolving many munitions support equipment issues, including those dealing with forklifts of all varieties.

Mr. Mank is highly regarded and respected within the military material handling community and is considered to be an expert in munitions support equipment design, application, and manufacture.

Special Appointments and Awards

Mr. Mank was recently appointed to the Business Advisory Council and serves the state of Florida.
